A1. Yes - our registration number is 11512. Following changes to part L of building regulations which took effect from April 1st 2002. Double Glazing Contractors who are registered with Fensa can Self Certify their Double Glazing Work without the need to go through Local Building Control. A condition of Registration is that insurance is offered on every contract carried out by the contractor.

A2. All our window and door installations are registered with QANW who in turn write to each customer with an offer of Insurance.

Q3. WHICK LOCKING SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

A3. We use the high security ROTO T S L twin cam window locking system designed to exceed B.S 7950, the Industry standard for window security. We use the High Security FUHR Hook Lock on our doors with both hook locks and bolts giving you a 7 point locking system which is extremely secure, which meets todays guidlines for security.


Q4. WHAT TYPE OF GLASS DO YOU USE

A4. We use Planibel A, a highly energy efficient glass that is perfectly suited for high performance domestic windows and is totally environment friendly.

A5. We manufacture and install the energy efficient KOMMERLING 070 5 chamber Gold System. Extruded from lead free Greenline compound and easily achieves an ‘A’ rating. As a market leader, these profiles provide you with a whole host of benefits.

A6. Every quotation we attend we will provide a written quote specifying what the quote is for and how much the Job will cost.

Q7. WILL THE SALES ADVISOR SIT IN MY HOUSE AND TRY TO PRESSURE ME INTO SIGNING, WHEN REALLY I NEED TIME TO REVIEW THE QUOTATION IN MY OWN TIME?

A7. No we operate a no hassle presentation. We will work out a price based on the information you give us and answer any questions you might have. Our quotations are valid for a three month period.

Q8. ARE YOUR WINDOWS AND DOORS STANDARD SIZES?

A8 No we manufacture our own bespoke frames, so this gives you the flexibility to choose what you want. Nothing we make is standard. So you decide a design for windows or conservatories and we will make and install them for you.

Q9. WHAT HAPPENS IF WE NEED PLANNING PERMISSION?

A9. We offer all conservatory customers the added advantage of a full planning service. This means that you can leave everything to us from planning and building regulations right through to the finished project. A detailed site survey is carried out and plans etc drawn up and submitted to your local authority for approval.

Q10. HOW DO WE KNOW WHAT OUR CONSERVATORY WILL LOOK LIKE?

A10 We will send you out a detailed drawing of your proposed conservatory along with a detailed specification and price free of charge.
